It was too early for summer, our department in the office wanted our Social Interaction right away before its too late claiming the budget. So when my head asks me to plan for something like this, I immediately googled and look for something that would be perfect for our first attempt for a summer escapade this year.
Glad I have found this Mountain Peak Resort(private resort). There aren't more blogs about this resort. While googling, I was just stunned by the inclined structure type of this resort and it was 600 plus meters above sea level so giving that figures I know I am going to see magnificent view outside of the resort. What's good thing is that it is affordable at P10,000 pesos daytrip that would fit for 20-25 persons.
We leave the our office in Taguig at around 7am, and arrived at SLEX Petron at 8am for a little stopover. And then went through the resort. We arrived at 9am. But before we arrive there, on the upper picture from the parking look at the side, that is where our tires have been burnt! haha. It was so steep seriously (not obvious in the photo) and we didn't know that there is another way up to the resort that is just a gradual ascend. So before our tires burnt alive until ash, someone from the resort went down and instructed us to just take the other way around.
Upclose
Upon arrival, some did arranged the food we have brought. And some did explore the resort, play billiards right away and some did started testing the videoke.
There are 2 swimming pools for our private use and one is for the kiddies, the kids at heart, and the ones who don't want to swim for some 4-5ft.
This pool is 4-5ft, both pools does have hotspring water. Which is good for that day's weather because it was too windy when we were there though it's almost summer.
There is also a shower room right before the pool for those who wants to pee and take a shower before dipping into the pool.
I then started to rome around the resort and checked the rooms. There are actually four rooms for all of us. Some rooms offers 2 double beds, some are 1 double bed and 1 double decks. All of the rooms are air-conditioned and has its own bathroom. Actually, 2 rooms offers a very nice view outside the veranda overlooking Laguna de Bay.
Most of the showers do not offer hot and cold bath. I was a bit disappointed when I was going to take a bath but then I can't open the shower, I thought its broken or something but then again there was something you are going to do to open it. Hassle.

When I went outside the room, on the veranda, I was really stunned by the view. It was truly relaxing even if you don't swim, just look at this kind of view and your trip was worth it. This was just one of the additional prize you can have when you want a private pool for summer plus a magnificent relaxing view like this.
outside the veranda you can also view the parking area
There is also a griller outside so if want to have barbecues, hotdogs, fish, you can grill it here. There is no additional charge, just bring charcoal and you can start grilling your food. (Because some resort offer additional charges if you are going to use other facilities like kitchen, grillers, water dispenser and etc).
There are two levels this resort, you can have the Upper Level or the Lower Level. Looks like a semi-private cause when we where in the lower level, we can see the people who rented the upper level but with the tarpaulin divider. Which that time is just okay because they came late so we didn't experience any disturbance like loud sounds or music or videokes or whatsoever. We are the ones who are more disturbing because we are having a good time. hehe :)
We prepared our foods and immediately started eating because some of the attendees bring with them their family and going to take half-day trip.
After eating we started dipping into the pool and the amazing view is still visible even if you are just sitting beside the pool.
Before we headed back home we saw a rainbow before it started to rain. The beggining and the end of the rainbow was way too near to us! We thought we might find there a pot of gold! Kidding aside. :))
My slappy camera did not capture the beauty of the rainbow. >.<
