El Teodoro Tapsilugan is just behind our MM Lodge Accommodation. So the following morning that we were there, we tried having our breakfast here. I am always craving for tapsilog heh. El Teodoro basically offers accommodation also, but we were not interested to bother to ask for the rates as we already had checked in @ MM Lodge.
The first day of our Baler trip was mainly focused on surfing, since we arrived at almost noon time, we had already our lunch at the Gerry Shan's Restaurant. The next day, we had a chance to have some breakfast in Baler.
Since El Teodoro is just somewhere near where we stay, we took the opportunity to have our breakfast here since we are all craving for Tapsilog. I am surprised, that they doesn't only offers food , but they also offers parking area for a fee.
some coffee in the morning
It was a failed attempt to try their Tapsilog, well, it was just as early as 8:00 am when we decided to dine here, and upon ordering my most CRAVED TAPSILOG, it was not available? Huwaaat? Grrrr. So we just decided to choose from the menu that is only available. I had Tocilog for 45 pesos, its quite cheap and affordable, plus hot Milo drink for P10.
On our third and last day, before we finally settled and checked out from our lodge, we ate again our breakfast at El Teodoro, because this is only the nearest stop we could get, not to mention the cheap price. Other stores also offers tapsilog but for a hundred bucks >.< But by this time, I am hoping now that we could finally taste their Tapsilog. I loved their Tapsiloggggg so much! For a cheap price tag of 55 pesos of this Tapsilog, its worth trying again. Their tapa flakes is perfect for its taste. Not too salty and about the right tenderness. I was just not satisfied pairing it with their vinegar, their vinegar sucks. Lol, tastes like burnt tires or plastic balloon. Haha. Cappuccino 3 in 1 coffee also made it perfect for my breakfast! Its also 10 pesos.
