After riding the bus from Santander, the bus stopped exactly in the front gates of Aaron Beach Resort. Since we don't have any reservations ahead of time, we tried searching nearby accommodations first but to no avail, so we're back where we started at Aaron's Beach Resort.
The room they offered us is a single bed fan room good for only 2 people for P1,000. Since there are 5 of us, we asked for extra mattress and pillows for P150. We arrived a bit early and it still not check out time so we went out to a nearby resort because there a lot of carinderia style eateries in there whereas Aaron's Beach Resort also has a restaurant, but we felt their rates were quite expensive.

The one at the end is our room, lucky us it has a window facing the sea |
The toilet included is clean and has fresh running water, just beware that the window is placed quite low and you might be seen from the outside if you don't cover it with a towel.
All of the rooms had a patio sort of space outside which makes it nicer if you want to hang out outside the room.

This is the area where you will ride the boat to take you to the briefing area and then later to the whale shark viewing |
Since the resort offers whale shark watching, there is also a dive shop in the resort grounds and also a souvenir shop and a sari-sari store.
When you avail of the whale shark watching package that the resort provides, you can use their lockers and shower rooms for free.

All in all it was an enjoyable experience staying at Aaron's Beach Resort. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms for rent aren't exactly cheap but since there are 5 of us to share, I guess it can pass and we were also able to haggle the price down :)
Just a little bit concern though, when we slept that night, we shared with one electric fan. I don't know why I can't bear the heat that night. We almost opened the windows to let the air come in. But still, I did not have a good sleep.
We haven't tried the food their restaurant offers though, but we are really thankful to the staff since they let us borrow utensils because we cooked our own dinner in the resort. If you would ever find yourself looking for accommodations in Oslob for whale shark watching, why not try looking at Aaron's Beach Resort? It is along the highway and popular among the bus drivers, just tell the conductor to drop you off right at their gates.
