I would like the share our itinerary used for our twin hikes at Mt. Talamitam and Mt. Batulao which caters to beginners and first time hikers like me as well as the costs for the whole trip. :)
Itinerary
Day 1
0700 ETD bus terminal in EDSA-Taft to Nasugbu, Batangas
0930 ETA Registration area at Sitio Bayabasan, Brgy. Aga (KM. 83)
1000 Start of trek
1300 Arrival at Summit
1330 Start descent
1530 Back at registration area
1600 Ride bus heading to Evercrest
1630 Get off at Evercrest, resupply water and everything
1700 Ride a tricycle
1715 Start of trek
1800 ETA fork between New trail and Old trail (We used Old trail in this climb)
1930 ETA Camp 1, Registration area
2000 Pitch tents, cook dinner
2100 Socials
2300 Lights off
Day 2
0530 Wake up
0600 Start assault to summit
0730 Arrival at summit
0800 Start Descent
0900 Arrival back at campsite, prepare breakfast
1030 Break camp, cleanup
1100 Start trek back to Evercrest
1200 ETA fork between New trail and Old trail
1245 Ride tricycle to Evercrest
1300 ETA Evercrest, freshen up
1330 Head back to Manila
1630 ETA Manila

Mt. Talamitam:
Bus from EDSA-Taft to Sitio Bayabasan, Brgy. Aga, Nasugbu, Batangas (KM. 83) - P 125.00
Registration fee - P 20.00
Guide fee per day - P300.00(for the whole group)

Take a dip in Talamitam River - P 40.00

Mt. Batulao:

Bus from Evercrest back to EDSA-Taft - P 106.00

Mountain Dew/fresh buko juice/Halo halo stalls along the trail - P25.00
Water refill at Camp 1 (1.5 liters) - P15.00
1 pail of water for use at the makeshift CR at Camp 1 - P 30.00 (not sure)
Take a bath/defecate at the Sari-sari store in Evercrest - P 20.00
