Albay Park and Wildlife

After visiting Lignon Hill, we proceed to our next destination, Albay Park and Wildlife. It was noon time and freakin' hot and we were all hungry. But you know, since we are already here (Lignon Hill's jump-off is just near Albay Park and Wildlife) so we wasted no time and just did a quick tour.

We paid 20 pesos each for the entrance fee - adult (10 pesos for kids), and started entering the premises. I am not amazed of what I saw inside because I've been to different zoos and wildlife conservatories before and I can say that this is was not the best of all.

There are some parts of the premises that I think needs to be developed, or else it would be a waste. I suggest they should try to maximize their resources and let it be filled with more and more wildlife species.

I saw different kinds of snakes and other reptiles, a lot of eagles, parrots, lovebirds, and hens! Yes, HENS! Like the ones you can buy to cook fried chicken! (seriously?) haha.. :p

The place is really wide, I think you can have an arrangement here for parties and other celebrations, because they have this lagoons, gazebo, and many more. There is a whole lot of space in the back that still seems vacant, but we were a bit hesitant to explore the whole place as it was just too hot back then. >.<

You can also try boating and biking for a fee, I just don't know how much it'll costs because we didn't ask anymore, we just took some photos.

Anyways, since that place was crowded as we were there together with three buses filled with kids on a field trip, we rested a bit and continued our tour of Albay province as we are all hungry, but we still have one place to go before we can eat. Click here to follow the rest of our tour to Daraga Church.
