Tumalog Falls

On our 2nd day at Cebu, we travelled from Moalboal to Oslob, it was about lunchtime and we were about to go Sumilon Island, but it was hightide so we decided to take Habal Habal tour around Oslob, Boljoon and Alcoy. Part of our Habal habal tour is this Tumalog Falls. An umbrella-like shape falls that is also known as Mag-ambak Falls or Toslob Falls.

We came from Aaron Beach Resort where we left our things and drove via Habal Habal ride to this Tumalog Falls. It was a 10-15 minute ride from the resort up to the registration area where we paid for the entrance fee of 20 pesos per head. It was I guess a blocked road because motorcycles cannot go down further because of the steep path. So we need to walk for a few minutes to reach the entrance of the falls.

We were welcomed by a mini pool that somehow indicates that were nearing the majestic falls in a heartbeat. I can hear the sound of the soft cascading water from the falls.

Suprisingly it was indeed beautiful, I looked up and saw how huge the falls was. The formation that makes the water looks like a shower side by side was because of its shape that looks like an umbrella.

The catch basin was knee deep to waist deep, I just noticed that the waters weren't as bluish green as what I always expect to a falls. It's not also that clear but I guess it was clean enough.

The view is so relaxing and it was so even tempting that it makes me wanna dip into its cold water. But we have to tour around Southern Cebu and our motorcycle ride and driver was waiting for us back at the registration area.
